The legend of The Wyvern - a Welsh dragon where he returns to the site of the castle ruins at Newcastle Emlyn. Legend has it, it was the last appearance of a dragon in Wales and was slain by a soldier and it fell into the river Teifi in a deep pool known as Pwll Dafi William and its venom turned the water green.
